What is hair lamination?

What is hair lamination?

Hair lamination is a procedure that consists of building a protective layer on the surface of the hair, the task of which is to protect the hair strands against mechanical damage, unfavourable weather conditions, moisture, or hot temperatures during styling.

With regular use of this technique, the hair becomes:

  • soft, bouncy, and perfectly smooth
  • full of shine and properly weighted
  • They do not tangle and are easier to comb
  • they become more flexible and easier to style

Step-by-step care ritual

Step 1

Wash your hair with your favourite shampoo
Step 2

Choose a jelly in accordance with your hair porosity type and the step-by-step hair care ritual, spread it on damp hair and leave it on for 10-15 minutes
Step 3

Rinse your hair with lukewarm water, then drain excess water and apply an emollient conditioner. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes.
Step 4

Rinse your hair again and then drain excess water - if you are looking for more weight on your hair, you can rub a few drops of the oil mixture into the hair strands before you start styling.

Extra tips:

1. You can also try hair jelly as a base for hair oiling. For this purpose, choose both jelly and oil mixture adjusted to your hair porosity.
2. You can apply the jelly to your hair in a duet:) After shampooing your hair, mix the jelly with an emollient conditioner or an oil mixture adapted to your hair porosity, spread over damp hair, and leave for 10-15 minutes
